Do Paryża po raz pierwszy wybrałam się w grudniu 2016 roku. Miło wspominam ten wyjazd, ponieważ razem z Maćkiem przywitaliśmy tam nowy rok, jednakże pogoda nie do końca nam dopisywała. Planowałam wrócić tam wiosną lub latem i pomimo tego, że nie jest to nie wiadomo jak długa podróż z Londynu, nigdy nie było mi tam niestety po drodze. Aż do teraz! Razem z Igą wpadliśmy na pomysł babskiego wyjazdu i muszę przyznać, że była to naprawdę dobra decyzja! Każdego dnia budziło nas słońce, hotel w którym się zatrzymałyśmy serwował pyszne śniadania i ułatwił nam dojazd w najważniejsze miejsca w centrum i mamy tyle zdjęć, że nie musimy ich robić przez następny miesiąc! Paryż latem zrobił na mnie zdecydowanie większe wrażenie niż Paryż zimą. Nosząc moje ulubione sukienki poczułam się jak prawdziwa Paryżanka, haha!
I went to Paris for the first time in December 2016. We had a very good time with Maciek, as we welcomed the new year there - but the weather was not that good for us. I planned to return there in spring or summer, and despite the fact that it is not that long from London, I couldn't do it for quite a long time. Until now!
Me and Iga came up with the idea of a girls' trip and I must admit that it was a really good decision! The weather was wonderful, the hotel where we stayed in served delicious breakfasts and made it easy for us to reach the most important places in the center (because of its location) and we have so many photos that we do not have to do them for the next month! Paris in summer made a better impression on me than Paris in the winter. Wearing my favorite dresses, I felt like a real Parisian girl, haha!
Zatrzymałyśmy się w hotelu Rochester. Znajduje się on jedynie 10-15 minut spacerkiem od Łuku Triumfalnego, z którego tak naprawdę wszędzie jest już łatwo się dostać. Ciekawostka - jeżeli macie mniej niż 25 lat i posiadacie Europejski paszport - możecie wejść tam za darmo! Poza tym hotelu panuje przemiła atmosfera, obsługa jest bardzo pomocna, a lepszego śniadania nie można sobie chyba wyobrazić! Dobrą opcją jest też to, że hotel pozwala na zostawienie bagaży po zrobieniu check-in, co umożliwia zwiedzanie miasta bez walizek i innych bagaży.
We stayed at the Rochester Hotel. It is only 10-15 minutes walk from the Arc de Triomphe, from which it is really easy to get everywhere. Interesting fact - if you are under 25 and you have a European passport - you can go there for free! In addition, the hotel has a nice atmosphere, the service is very helpful and you can not imagine a better breakfast! A good option is also that the hotel allows you to leave your luggage after making a check-out, which allows you to explore the city without suitcases and other luggages with you.
Bez wątpienia mogę powiedzieć, że jednym z najbardziej rozpoznawalnych punktów Paryża jest wieża Eiffla. Poprzez mój lęk wysokości nie udało mi się na nią wjechać, ale zdjęcia obok niej zdecydowanie mi wystarczą. Osobom które boją się wysokości tak samo jak ja polecam łuk triumfalny - widok jest równie piękny.
I can say it with no doubt that one of the most recognizable points of Paris is the Eiffel Tower. Because of my fear of heights, I was unable to enter it, but the photos next to it are definitely enough for me. For people who are afraid of heights as well as I am -
I recommend the Arc de Triomphe - the view is equally beautiful!
Co zrobiło na mnie największe wrażenie podczas tego wyjazdu? Z pewnością był to Pont Alexandre III, którego nie udało mi się zobaczyć podczas mojej pierwszej wizyty w Paryżu. Most sam w sobie jest niesamowity, a widok z niego jeszcze piękniejszy! Wybrałyśmy się tam na zachód słońca i wydaje mi się, że była to najlepsza pora.
What impressed me the most during this trip? Certainly it was Pont Alexandre III, which I could not see during my first visit to Paris. The bridge itself is amazing, and the view from it is even more beautiful! We went there for the sunset and it seems like it was the best time.
Co jeszcze mnie zdziwiło podczas tego wyjazdu? Ceny ubera! Porównując do tych Londyśkich - były one naprawdę sporo tańsze i czasami było to bardziej opłacalne niż metro lub autobus. Poza tym poprzez to, że naprawdę dużo chodziłyśmy (jednego dnia przeszłyśmy 16km), pozwoliło nam odryć mnóstwo przepięknych kawiarenek i uliczek.
What else surprised me during this trip? Uber prices! Compared to those in London - they were a lot cheaper and sometimes it was more profitable than the subway or bus. Besides, because we walked a lot (one day we went 16km), it allowed us to discover a lot of beautiful cafes and alleys.
